Viscotears Dry Eye Treatment Liquid Gel 10g Overview
Viscotears Liquid Gel is a substitute for tear fluid for the management of dry eyes and for unstable tear film. Consult your doctor before use if: you are pregnant or breastfeeding; you are sensitive or allergic to Viscotears Liquid Gel, carbomer 980 or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (allergic reactions include rash, itching and shortness of breath); you are suffering from any other eye disorder; or you are using any other medicines for your eyes. Follow the doctor's instructions, and check the directions on the pharmacy label, which should tell you when and how many times to use your drops in a day. If it does not, or you are unsure about anything, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Viscotears Liquid Gel can cause unwanted side effects in some people. These effects are often mild and may wear off after a few days' treatment. If they are severe or last for more than a few days, or if your eye drops upset you in any other way, tell your doctor, Effects which may occur are a mild burning sensation in the eye which quickly passes, blurring of vision after insertion of the drop, which will gradually clear. Do not drive or operate machinery if your vision is blurred. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the tube or carton label. Viscotears Liquid Gel should be stored below 25ºC with the cap tightly closed. The tube should be discarded one month after opening. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children. If your doctor tells you to stop using the drops, please take them back to the pharmacist for safe disposal. Only keep the medicine if your doctor tells you to. If the drops become discoloured or show any other signs of deterioration, you should seek the advice of your pharmacist. This medicine is for your use only. Never give it to anyone else. It may harm them even if their symptoms are the same as yours. If you have any questions, or are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
